Condo Living
Participating students live in the River Place complex just across the
Potomac River from Washington, DC in Arlington, VA. River Place is only two blocks from the Rosslyn Metro with easy access to all of the sites in
the Nation's Capital. Just across the street is the Iwo Jima Memorial and
just across the Key Bridge is Georgetown.
There are numerous banks, eating places (fast food and others), and a
Safeway supermarket, all within walking distance of the condos. All of the condos at River Place are different in style and decoration, but share the
same convenience, location, and basic amenities. In addition, River Place
offers an entertainment center and workout facility.
While staying with the LCWS program, there is no dormitory housing.
Students reside in two-bedroom / two bathroom condos housing
up to four students per
condo. The condos have all that you need - complete furnishings, appliances, kitchen accessories, and washer and dryer units.
Each condo comes with cable television consisting of approximately seventy channels and hi-speed cable internet.
