Dean's Requirements:

While attending the Lutheran College Washington Semester, students are required to complete the Dean's Requirements.  These consist of a Congressional Committee Summary, a Protest or Demonstration Paper, and completing 12 hours of community service.

Important Dates:

            April 1: Application Due

            September 6th & 7th: Students Arrival

            September 7th:  4 pm - Orientation in the LCWS Office

            September 8th: Classes Begin

            September 8th: Internships Begin

            December 12th: Internships End

            December 13th & 14th: Students Leave

            Global Agenda

            Business and Public Policy

            Political Communication

            American Diversity: Issues in Race, Religion, and Gender

            Conflict and Compromise

*Will include some Sunday workshops
