Summer Research Program
Overview
Faculty and staff at our member institutions can apply to stay in LCWS housing during the summer. The purpose is to provide a low-cost way to pursue professional goals in Washington, DC during the summer. We are open to applications from individuals conducting research in their areas of expertise, developing course content related to DC, or exploring experiential opportunities for students.
Guidelines for the LCWS Summer Research Program:

The program operates from May to August following the same dates as the Summer Residential Program.

Apartments are available in two-week blocks.

There is a $250 cleaning fee.

No children under the age of 18 are allowed to stay in the condo.

You must sign a release form before moving in, which will be provided by LCWS.

You must teach or work at one of the LCWS member schools.

No groups allowed.

You must notify LCWS in advance of all people staying in the apartment.

If you are coming with a colleague, men and women are allowed to stay in the same two-bedroom apartment.

LCWS is not responsible for providing linens, pillows or blankets. The condo is fully furnished otherwise. Please visit our Housing & Furnishings page for an overview of what is provided in our condos.

Application
If you meet the criteria listed above, please complete the application form and submit it to Dean Hasecke by email. Your application must be signed by your LCWS Campus Representative prior to submission to LCWS.
