Semesters

LCWS offers programs for the fall and spring semesters, allowing students to pursue an internship, complete two courses, and attend weekly field trips while living in the nation’s capital.  Our staff works closely with each student to help secure an internship in the field of their choice.  Students work four days per week, with Fridays reserved for program events, field trips, or lectures.

During the summer, LCWS offers a residential housing program that allows students to live and work in D.C.  LCWS does not offer weekly classes, or field trips, during the summer session.  Students are responsible for securing their own internship and making all necessary work arrangements.

Students live in penthouse condos owned by LCWS at River Place in Rosslyn, VA.  Classes during the fall and spring semesters meet in the LCWS office, also located at River Place.
