The Lutheran College Washington Semester (LCWS) is a small, personalized program through which students can explore academic and professional opportunities in the nation’s capital. Fall and spring semester students intern four full days per week and take two classes, each meeting once per week, in the evenings. Through our partner institutions of higher education, LCWS brings students together from across the country and around the world.

I look back to my time in the LCWS program with a deep sense of appreciation. The opportunity to work, study, and explore in our nation's capital is an experience in my mind.
